Charleston Kayak Tours
Kayak Tours Charleston, SC
Looking to explore the lowcountry waterways by kayak or paddleboard? We can help you regardless of your experience level. While we are headquartered along Historic Shem Creek in Mount Pleasant, just across the Cooper River Bridge from Charleston, we also offer many tours on other tidal creeks and blackwater rivers. We make it easy to rent and jump on a kayak or paddle board tour in Charleston because we have a convenient, easy-to-use ramp located next to Waters Edge and Mount Pleasant Seafood. We have lightweight Werner and Harmony Carbon/Fiberglass/Plastic Paddles and 70+ high end Wilderness Systems and Perception Kayaks from which to choose.
Nature Adventure kayaks range from 13' – 17' long and are a variety of sit inside and sit on top kayaks. We make every effort to accommodate your preference and body type. Our tour guides are very knowledgeable and dedicated. Their educational backgrounds range from Marine Biologists to Pro Birders, Master Naturalists to world traveling adventurers. You will most certainly learn something on every tour about the tidal salt marsh ecology, the local history of Shem Creek or Charleston's relevance to the Revolutionary, 1812 and Civil Wars. You can choose between 2, 3, 4 and 5-6 hour tours. The 2 and 3 hour options are our most popular. The longer kayak tours are most specialized and in unique Charleston waterways. We also offer overnight kayaking camping expeditions to Capers Island, down the Edisto, to Adventure Island (a privately-owned island with a historically significant fort on it) and other locations upon request. Possibilities abound so call and let us help with your adventure.
